A 25-year-old man fatally plunged from the Manhattan Bridge while trying to run from the scene of a crash early Tuesday, authorities said.
The man was involved in a two-car accident on the lower level of the span around 1:45 a.m., cops said.
He ran off before police arrived — and either jumped or fell from an elevated section of the bridge with roadway below, police said.
