A man was slashed in the face during a fight with two strangers in Lower Manhattan early Wednesday, authorities said.
The scene after the slashing in Lower Manhattan. Robert MeceaThe victim, 38, was squabbling with two other men on Broad Street near South William Street around 3:15 a.m. when he was slashed in the left side of the face with a knife, and struck on the right side with a machete handle, cops said.
His injuries were non-life-threatening, police said.
It is unclear what the men were fighting about. Robert MeceaThe suspects took off, heading west on Stone Street.
Police did not know what the men were arguing about.
