A man was critically injured when he was hit by an SUV in the Bronx, police said.
The 60-year-old was in the crosswalk of White Plains Road near East Gun Hill Road shortly before 11:30 p.m. Friday when he was struck by a gray 2021 Toyota SUV traveling westbound, the NYPD said.
Officers found the victim with multiple life threatening injuries. The 60-year-old was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, an NYPD spokesman said.
