A man was critically injured when he was hit by an SUV in the Bronx, police said.

The 60-year-old was in the crosswalk of White Plains Road near East Gun Hill Road shortly before 11:30 p.m. Friday when he was struck by a gray 2021 Toyota SUV traveling westbound, the NYPD said.

Officers found the victim with multiple life threatening injuries. The 60-year-old was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, an NYPD spokesman said.

The driver of the car remained on the scene, cops said. No charges have been filed in connection to the crash. The investigation is continuing.
