A 66-year-old man stabbed his wife to near-death before hanging himself in what cops are probing as an attempted murder-suicide in the Bronx Monday morning.
The couple was fighting inside a third-floor apartment on Grand Concourse near East 198th Street in Fordham Manor just before 5:30 a.m. when the man stabbed the woman in the chest, police said.
She was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition.
