An unhinged man punched a 67-year-old stranger in the face on a Queens street, disturbing video released Thursday by cops shows.
The victim was standing on the sidewalk, mid-conversation, on Horace Harding Expressway near 186th Street in Fresh Meadows at 12:25 p.m. Saturday when another man walked past — and then doubled back, punching him in the face without warning, cops said.
The blow knocked the victim to the ground, the surveillance clip released early Thursday shows.
The motive for the attack is unclear.
The victim was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital – Queens for pain, redness and swelling to his face, and the assailant remains at large.
