A 70-year-old man stabbed his 71-year-old roommate to death during a fight inside a Manhattan residence for senior citizens, police said.

The victim was knifed in the back around 10:50 p.m. Tuesday as the verbal clash turned bloody inside the Dorothy Ross Friedman Residence on West 57th Street near Tenth Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen, authorities said. 

The gravely-wounded septuagenarian was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Cops responding to the supportive housing apartment building found the suspected killer with slash wounds on both of his hands, according to the NYPD.

He was taken into custody and brought to the same hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said. 

Charges against him were pending.

Neither man’s name had been released by cops Wednesday. 

Authorities also did not know what sparked the deadly feud.

The 30-story Dorothy Ross Friedman Residence, formerly known as The Aurora, provides affordable, supportive housing for seniors, those living with HIV/AIDS, and low-income people who work in the entertainment industry, according to its website.
