A 91-year-old man was killed by a hit-and-run driver yesterday as he crossed a busy street near his Brooklyn home.
Cops said Milton Levine was crossing Avenue Y at Nostrand Avenue in Sheepshead Bay at 2:30 p.m. when he was struck by a gray Nissan Pathfinder, whose driver fled the scene. Moments later, a second car hit him, but that driver remained.
Levine was pronounced dead at Lutheran Hospital.
A neighbor, Elisa Davis Martinez, 54, said Levine, a retired waiter, was active in his local synagogue.
“He was a doll,” Martinez said.
