One of the men busted last week in connection with the 2015 drive-by slaying of Chinx the rapper admitted Monday that he also took part in a bank robbery that same year.
WireImageQuincy Homere, 32, copped to armed bank robbery and brandishing a firearm as part of a plea agreement in the bank case. No sentencing date has been set.
Prosecutors said Homere, of Balwin, LI, bashed a bank employee in the face with the butt of an AK-47 rifle as he and others held up the Hempstead Wells Fargo Branch in November 2015.
Homere is accused of helping to kill Lionel “Chinx” Pickens six months earlier, during a drive-by shooting in Queens, less than an hour after the up-and-coming rapper performed at a Brooklyn nightclub. He is awaiting trial.
