A man was charged Friday with fatally beating his sister on the day she celebrated her 30th birthday in The Bronx, police said.

Jeremy Wilson, 42, allegedly bludgeoned tragic ­Erica Wilson inside her apartment on Brook Avenue near Third Avenue at approximately 7 p.m. Thursday, according to sources.

The siblings’ mother made the grim discovery — after which her bloodcurdling screams could be heard echoing through the hallways of the Morrisania building, according to neighbors.

The building is less than two blocks from the NYPD’s 42nd Precinct station house.

Detectives quizzed Wilson about the brutal slaying for several hours Friday before they ultimately arrested him, sources said.

The motive behind the murder remains unknown.
