A Staten Island man killed his ex-wife’s parakeet by breaking it “in half” while he threatened the woman with a knife, a report said.

Javier Villanueba snatched the pet from its cage during a April 24 argument and “snapped [the bird] in half,” according to the Staten Island Advance.

In a plea deal this week, he copped to criminal weapon possession and disorderly conduct.
