A Brooklyn man busted for allegedly training a laser pointer at a chopper providing security for the UN General Assembly was released without bail Monday.

Authorities say Douglas Tetreau aimed his laser at a helicopter from his home in Brooklyn as the pilots provided aerial surveillance for the September gathering of world leaders.

No one was injured. Tetreau claims he was trying to pilot his drone, not interfere with the helicopter.

He faces up to five years behind bars if convicted of knowingly interfering with the aircraft.
