A man was given a slap on the wrist after he allegedly slugged a woman in the face in Manhattan, police said Tuesday.
Allen Henry, 40, was busted by police but only given a ticket for punching a 23-year-old woman in the face as she was exiting the No. 6 train station with her husband at 28th Street and Park Avenue South in NoMad around 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, cops said.
Henry told cops he “hit her by accident,” but he was charged with assault and harassment and given a desk appearance ticket.
The woman was treated by first responders at the scene.
Henry has a long rap sheet, including arrests for assault and robbery, according to police.
