A man was arrested Friday for stalking the model niece of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, police and sources said.

The suspected stalker, 38-year-old Joseph Snipes, was taken into custody about 11 a.m. for stalking Audrey Hilfiger, authorities said.

Snipes allegedly sent Instagram messages to Hilfiger daily for about three months, cops said. He began sending her messages in May, and continued until she reported him to police in early August.

It wasn’t immediately clear what the messages said, but Hilfiger reported being annoyed and alarmed.

Snipes, of Hamden, Connecticut, was hit with a stalking charge after being arrested near Gramercy Park.
