An East Village man was charged Saturday with holding up three businesses around Manhattan and is a suspect in eight similar robberies, police said.
Kenneth Norrage, 47, was picked out of lineups by witnesses or victims of heists at a toy store in Gramercy, a donut shop in Harlem and an Upper West Side cupcake bakery.
Cops were arranging lineups to see if he can be connected to the other robberies. A total of $3,500 was taken in 11 heists.
Police said the thief displayed a knife in some robberies and claimed to have a gun, although he never showed one. No one was hurt.
