He took a bite out of a crime-fighter.

A man bit the hand of one cop and splashed scalding coffee on another as the officers tried to arrest him at an East Harlem bodega last month, authorities said.

Kenneth Wright, 46, allegedly bashed a 26-year-old man with a cane during an argument inside the 2058 Deli on Lexington Avenue near East 125th Street at about 5:30 p.m. Dec. 16 and then fled the scene, officials said.

Witnesses called cops on Wright when he returned to the deli an hour later.

When the officers tried to cuff Wright, he threw a cup of hot coffee at one cop’s face and then punched him, authorities said.

The cop’s partner jumped in and tried to grab Wright — that’s when Wright chomped down on the officer’s hand so hard that he broke the skin, DNA Info reported.

The officers eventually managed to cuff Wright, who was hit with a slew of charges including two counts of assaulting a police officer.

Both officers, along with the beating victim, went to area hospitals, but neither was seriously injured.
