A Manhattan girl was left with a broken arm after an adult at her Lower East Side elementary school inserted himself in the child’s game, according to a lawsuit.
The 11-year-old was playing with fellow students on the playground at PS 137 in May when a man the kids know as “Coach Mike” “interjected himself in to the game, and kicked the ball in a highly negligent, dangerous manner,” according to the Manhattan Supreme Court suit against the city and the Department of Education.
