A man was brutally beaten and robbed inside a Bronx housing project during an attack that was caught on video and released by cops.

The footage shows the two large thugs surrounding the 42-year-old victim inside an elevator of the Morrisania Houses around 8 p.m. June 22 and dragging him down to the floor as he tries to make an escape.

One of the heavyset brutes then pulls him back into the elevator, where he holds him down and viciously stomps on his head.

The suspects then flee with $70 and a cellphone, police said.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated for swelling to his face and an eye injury.

The first suspect is believed to be in his mid-30s while his cohort, who walks with a cane, is described as in his 50s.
