A New Jersey man was arrested Thursday at Newark Airport for allegedly owing more than $1 million in tolls.
Lester Morales, 34, is the owner of ill-named Jersey City-based company Do It Right Trucking, which sent 100 trucks through more than 100 toll booths a day using “a delinquent E-ZPass account,” according to the New Jersey State Police.
After a two-month investigation, State Police discovered Morales was about to board a plane to Aruba and notified Port Authority Police, who made the arrest.
