Police busted a 39-year-old man after he left a bag full of drugs and a revolver that looked like it was torn from the pages of a history book in the middle of Times Square, cops and sources said.

Police tracked down Jameel Hopkins after reviewing surveillance footage from West 43rd Street and Broadway, where officers found the unattended bag, sources said.

Hopkins was arrested just after 1 a.m. just steps from where the bag was picked up, according to sources.

Police found a tarnished .22-caliber revolver with an elongated barrel and at least 80 small packages of drugs, police sources said.

Cops tweeted an image of the contraband on Wednesday.

Turns out, Hopkins was also wanted for a parole violation out in Harrisburg, Pa., the sources added.
