A heartless crook forced a 78-year-old woman from her car in Brooklyn and drove off with the victim’s dog still inside, police said.

The carjacking occurred Sunday at about 1:15 p.m. as the victim sat parked in her 2008 red Honda Civic near Mill Avenue and Mayfair Drive in Mill Basin, according to cops.

After pulling the woman from out of the driver’s seat, he sped away with her dog, a toy poodle named Luna, still in the vehicle, cops said.

The woman suffered a head injury and was treated at a local hospital, authorities said.

The victim’s sedan was located Wednesday morning in Williamsburg at South 9th Street and Berry Avenue, sources said, but her pooch was still missing.

The 9-year-old dog, with curly white hair, is “Very friendly, quiet, and approachable,” according to a poster circulating in the neighborhood of the carjacking.

The suspect was still on the loose as of late Wednesday, according to police.
