A man was caught on surveillance video vandalizing several statues outside a historic church in Soho last week.

The strapping crook jumped a fence outside of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Sullivan Street where he began destroying the religious icons around 12:40 a.m. June 26, the video released by cops Saturday shows.

The video shows the man picking up three small statues and hurling them at a larger statue depicting the Virgin Mary, police said.

All of the statues were damaged.

After breaking the sculptures, the man then hopped back over the fence and calmly walked away from the scene.

The church, which opened in 1866 has been featured in several films, most notably the 1974 blockbuster “Godfather II.”
