A man has been charged with hiding the dead body of Lyric McHenry, the pregnant daughter of movie producer Doug McHenry
, according to newly revealed court papers.
Alexis Mejia-Ramirez, 29, allegedly helped two other men lug McHenry’s corpse to a sidewalk on Boscobel Place and Undercliff Avenue on Aug. 14 so that she wouldn’t be discovered.
But cops found the 26-year-old hours later at about 5:05 a.m slumped on the sidewalk. An autopsy found that she died of an overdose, as a result of a lethal cocktail of heroin, cocaine and alcohol, an affidavit in the case said.
Mejia-Ramirez was charged on Oct. 15 with tampering with physical evidence and concealment of a human corpse, though police never announced his arrest.
He was released Oct. 26 on $1,500 bail and is due to appear in court Wednesday.
A rep for the family said McHenry’s dad was waiting to speak to the NYPD about the arrest before commenting.
