A North Carolina man has been charged with trafficking at least 30 guns from the south into Brooklyn, authorities said.
Marcus Gamble pleaded not guilty Tuesday as he was arraigned before Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Foley on charges of criminal sale of firearms, criminal possession of weapons and related charges.
Gamble, 24, brought in some 33 firearms from North Carolina and sold at least 25 of them to an undercover, authorities allege.
He was arrested in a Golden Krust Jamaican-patty eatery while carrying eight guns and assault-rifle parts in his backpack, prosecutors said.
Defense attorney Ronald Hart declined to comment.
