A Staten Island “idiot” sang like a canary when cops caught him pilfering valuables from a car.

“Yeah, we took the stuff . . . I was the idiot who held the bag,” Anthony Lipari, 32, told the NYPD after he was nabbed, according to the Staten Island Advance.

He and Ernie Caravello, 50, snatched a $200 GPS out of the Hyundai Elantra in Oakwood Heights, police said.
