A man convicted of stalking JP Morgan chief Jamie Dimon got off easy Monday, and will only have to cough up $250 and serve 10 days community service for his years of creeping.
Greg Waltman hounded the powerful banker over a four-year period, calling his office some 30 times and even showing up at his Park Avenue co-op to demand an in-person meeting three times, claiming the chief executive of the country’s largest bank had stiffed him.
“I’m here to see Jamie Dimon! Mr. Dimon owes me money,” the 32-year-old stalker told a doorman, during one of his trips to the tony address, according to court papers.
He repeated that refrain in Manhattan Supreme Court Monday, when he said Dimon was responsible for a “tremendous loss of billions of dollars” for Waltman’s energy company.
“I was arrested without any probable cause,” Waltman complained during the brief proceeding.
The finance fanatic received the wrist-slap sentence following his conviction earlier this year on charges of aggravated attempted harassment and attempted stalking.
He declined comment as he left court.
