A 25-year-old man lying in a Queens street was critically injured when a tractor-trailer struck him early Saturday, police said.
The truck was traveling north on 58th Street in Maspeth and made a right turn onto Borden Avenue when it hit the victim at around 4:25 a.m., cops said.
The man was pinned under the front left wheel of the tractor-trailer and suffered trauma to the body, police said.
Emergency responders rushed him to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
The driver of the truck remained on the scene.
Police are trying to determine how the man came to be lying in the road.
