A 60-year-old man was killed by a subway train Friday morning when he somehow ended up on the tracks, police sources and transit workers said.

The unidentified victim was spotted standing on the tracks by a 6-train operator at the East 28th Street and Park Avenue station around 5:10 a.m as it was coming into the tunnel, cops and the MTA said.

The operator hit the emergency brake but the train could not stop in time, the agency said.

No criminality is suspected, police sources said.
