The man who was decapitated by a train in Greenwich Village over the weekend was subway surfing when he struck a pillar, cops said.
The unidentified man was riding outside a southbound F train when he collided with a column and fell in the tunnel north of the West 4th Street station in Greenwich Village at about 3:05 p.m. Saturday, cops said. He died on the scene.
Passengers were evacuated from all 10 cars of the subway train.
