BUFFALO — A man died Friday after an incident on a roller coaster at a theme park near Buffalo, N.Y., a law enforcement source told WGRZ-TV.

The victim had been on the Ride of Steel roller coaster at the Darien Lake Theme Park when the accident happened at about 5:30pm local time.

A spokesperson for the park said the man “came out” of the ride and “passed away.”

Authorities are investigating.

Darien Lake is a theme park resort located between Buffalo and Rochester.
