A man died after being found in a trash compactor in a Wall Street residential building, police said.

The man, 23, was rushed to New York Downtown Hospital after police and firefighters were called to 67 Wall St. at 10:18 a.m.

Authorities had no information about how the man was injured in the compactor. The man’s name was not released.

The 25-story building has a car dealership on its first floor, and apartments higher up. Detectives were at the scene investigating the incident.
