The NYPD Harbor Unit recovered the body of a 48-year-old man from the Long Island Sound on Thursday night, police sources said.

James Famularo, of Glen Cove, Long Island, was unresponsive and not breathing when cops brought him ashore after responding to a report of a jumper about 11:30 p.m., the sources said.

He was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where he was declared dead.

His family said he suffered from depression.
