A man was struck and killed by a Metro-North train in Westchester on Wednesday, authorities said.

A work train hit him shortly before 4:10 p.m. as it passed through the Hartsdale station, an MTA spokeswoman said. There was no passengers on the train.

The Greensburgh cops, which police Hartsdale, pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The MTA police are investigating the circumstances.
