A 50-year-old man died after jumping from a building on the Upper West Side and falling onto scaffolding below, cops said.

Bobby Richardson plummeted from the public housing complex at 80 Amsterdam Ave. around 11 p.m., according to family members.

Richardson lived on the fifth floor with his older brother, his family said.

“My daughter just called me, said: ‘Uncle Bobby just jumped out the window,’” Richardson’s sister-in-law Deborah Armstrong told The Post.

“I’m like, ‘What do you mean? What are you saying to me?’ I looked out my window, saw all the cop cars, and I came downstairs.”

Emergency service workers responded to the scene, where Richardson was pronounced dead.
