A man who jumped overboard during a late-night booze cruise was fished out of the water by the boat’s crew but later died, authorities said Sunday.

Vernon Witsell, 56, was aboard the Skyline Princess when he jumped into the waters of Flushing Bay between Rikers Island and College Point Queens around 2 a.m.

The ship’s crew managed to get the combative man back on board before docking and turning him over to paramedics.

Witsell later passed away at Flushing Hospital, cops said.

Skyline Princess Cruises, which operates out of the World’s Fair Marina, did not immediately return calls seeking comment.
