A house fire killed a Brooklyn man Sunday, police said.
The fire started after 8 p.m. in a home along the 300 block of Jefferson Avenue, near Tompkins Avenue in the 79th Precinct.
When officials arrived at the scene, they found the man unconscious and unresponsive, and he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The fire remains under investigation — but for now, it doesn’t seem suspicious.
