A pedestrian crossing Ninth Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen died yesterday after he was run over by an MTA bus, authorities said.

The unidentified 22-year-old man was on the southbound avenue at 8:44 a.m. when he was hit by an express bus, which was making a left turn from West 53rd Street.

“The front of the bus hit him, and his legs went under the wheel,” said a witness who did not give her name.

Rescuers rushed the man to Roosevelt Hospital, where he was declared dead at 9:11 a.m., MTA officials said.
