Ho, ho, whoa!

A man in a Santa suit scaled the scaffolding outside the Flatiron Building on Monday in an apparent bid to spread some holiday cheer, according to witnesses.

The seemingly jolly man, who was wearing Santa’s iconic red coat and hat with white trim, was spotted around 1:30 p.m. atop a sidewalk shed outside the iconic triangular building on the corner of 23rd Street and 5th Avenue, according to video posted on Citizen.

It’s unclear how the man was able to mount the scaffolding or whether he was authorized to be there.

Security guard Victor Marshall, 41, who works across the street at Flatiron Public Plaza, confirmed he saw the stunt and claimed the man in the suit was a Flatiron Building superintendent.

“He was up there waving, saying ‘Merry Christmas’ to people, you know, spreading some love,” Marshall said, “I know the guy, he does stuff like that, that’s just the way he is. He’s a jokester.”

But when asked, the superintendent denied that he was St. Nick.

“It wasn’t me. If someone was up there it would be a breach of security,” said the man, who gave the name Sonny.

Police had no information on the incident.

No reindeer could be seen in the vicinity.
