A speeding car flew over the side of the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn early Monday, plummeting more than 40 feet and killing the young driver, cops said.

Michael Weber lost control of his 2009 silver Infiniti as he headed east toward the Mill Basin Bridge at around 2 a.m. and struck the center median, law-enforcement sources said.

The car then ricocheted across three lanes of traffic before hitting the outside guard rail, authorities said.

At that point, Weber, 27, was thrown from the car, landing on the highway.

His vehicle, meanwhile, went airborne over the side of the elevated highway, police said.

On its way over the side, the car struck a pole, which fell onto the highway, officials said.

Weber was found lying unconscious near the shoulder of the roadway with severe trauma to his head and a broken arm and leg, authorities said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The car’s mangled wreckage came to rest on the sandy shore 41 feet below, authorities said.

It had to be hauled up to the roadway by a crane.

Weber lived on Belmont Avenue, sources said. He had been speeding at the time of the crash, according to law-enforcement sources.
