A man was seriously injured after he fell down an elevator shaft at the Time Warner building at Columbus Circle Thursday, authorities said.

The victim, whose age wasn’t immediately known, was inside the ten-story building on West 60th Street and Columbus Circle when he plunged 15 to 20 feet down the elevator shaft, authorities said.

He fell from the first floor to the basement at 6:15 a.m., according to authorities.

Emergency responders rushed him to Cornell Hospital where he has been listed in serious condition.
