A man fell onto the subway tracks and was killed by a train at an Upper East Side station Friday afternoon, authorities said.
He tumbled about 4:15 p.m. at the Lexington Avenue-59th Street station, and was hit by an uptown 5.
The MTA said that some uptown 5 trains were running along the 2 line from Nevins Street to 149th Street-Grand Concourse, and downtown 4 and 5 trains were running local from 125th Street to Grand Central.
Uptown 4, 5, and 6 trains were running local from Grand Central to 125th Street.
