A 28-year-old man was shot and killed in the Bronx early Wednesday morning, police said.
The shooter struck Rameez Maragh twice in the chest around 4:53 a.m. near East 233rd Street and Bronxwood Avenue in the Wakefield neighborhood of the Bronx, according to cops.
Maragh was taken by private vehicle to Jacobi Hospital, where he died.
Two 9-mm shell casings were recovered from the scene, police sources said.
A 23-year-old person of interest was in custody for questioning.
