A 56-year-old man was struck and killed by a box truck on Bronx River Avenue in Soundview, cops said Sunday.

The man, whose name was not released, was knocked down by the truck and run over by the rear wheels as he was trying to cross the road at Westchester Avenue just before 5 p.m. Saturday, cops said.

The man rushed to Lincoln Hospital, but he could not be saved, according to police.

The truck driver stayed on scene and no arrests have been made, cops said.
