A man died when he was struck by a subway train on the Upper East Side early Sunday, authorities said.
Several witnesses saw the man staggering along a platform at the East 86th Street station shortly before he fell into the path of a southbound No. 6 train as it was pulling into the station around 6 a.m. It’s believed the man was intoxicated when he fell.
