A man in southern New Jersey needed a metal pipe to scare away a pack of wild dogs who attacked him, a report said Tuesday.

Surveillance video shows the terrifying moment three large and loud pooches chased the man through Little Egg Harbor Township, according to WPVI-TV.

Cops said the dog bit at least six people, including local resident John Kita, who was attacked while working in his driveway.

“[I was] cleaning out the van, all of a sudden from behind my house on the side, these three dogs come barking at me very aggressively,” Kita told the station.

He said one of them bit him right through his jeans.

“There was a neighbor who was chasing them down, he got out of his car with a golf club, started swinging at them. And finally the dogs left,” he said.

A total of four people were taken to the hospital with one woman’s arm was bitten down to the bone.

A trio of dogs were seized by police on Monday afternoon.
