A scruffy-looking man grabbed a straphanger and forcibly kissed her at a Manhattan subway station before tossing the woman to the ground and pummeling her, authorities said.
The victim had been making her way through the turnstile at the Canal Street J-train station on Nov. 19 at about 3:30 a.m. when the creep pinned her down and kissed her on the mouth, police said.
Without saying a word, the man then knocked her to the ground and began kicking her in the stomach and back, cops said.
The fiend, described as a 5-foot-10, 175-pound white man, then darted away.
The subway system has been a dangerous place in recent months, with several people being assaulted and, in some cases, pushed onto the tracks and killed.
A 50-year-old man was arrested last weekend after he shoved a fellow straphanger onto the northbound A tracks at 14th Street. Cops said the victim suffered a neck injury.
On Monday, a Muslim MTA worker was called a “terrorist” and pushed down a flight of stairs at Grand Central station.
