A man was found dead inside a box trailer in Brooklyn that housed several homeless people looking to get out of the cold, police sources said Sunday.

The man, identified only as Luis, had been sleeping in the trailer parked outside Nicky’s Brooklyn Auto Glass on Neptune Avenue in Coney Island. His friends discovered his lifeless body at around 3 a.m.

“We found Luis dead. We called the police,” said Miguel Vasquez, 33, one of Luis’ friends.

“It hurts a lot. He’s from Ecuador like us and he lives on the street like us.”
