The dead body of a 25-year-old man was found in Central Park Sunday evening, authorities said.

Parkgoers made the grisly discovery in Strawberry Fields near 72nd street and West Drive at approximately 6:30 p.m., cops said.

Officers called to the scene found the man, who is believed to be homeless, unconscious with a syringe next to him. He was declared dead at the scene, cops said.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
