A man died after he was shot inside a Brooklyn public housing building on Monday afternoon, police said.
The 31-year-old was inside the lobby of a building on Lewis Avenue, within the New York City Housing Authority’s Roosevelt Houses, around 2:45 p.m. when he was shot once in the chest, cops said.
He was rushed to Woodhull Medical Center, but he could not be saved.
The victim’s name was not immediately provided, pending family notification. Police are still looking for his attacker.
