A 21-year-old man was fatally shot just outside his Brooklyn home Saturday afternoon, authorities said.

Leroy Olmstead was found with a gunshot wound to his torso around 3:10 p.m. in front of his building in the Gowanus Houses on Baltic Street, police said.

First responders rushed Olmstead to Lutheran Hospital, but he could not be saved.

Investigators did not immediately identify a suspect or motive in the slaying.
