A young man hanged himself inside a Manhattan subway station early Sunday, police said.

An MTA worker found the man’s body hanging from a metal wire at the north end of the F train platform at the 34th Street-Herald Square station around 3:30 a.m.

Police have tentatively identified the man but are withholding his name pending family notification. He is believed to be in his late teens.

Police said the apparent suicide was captured on surveillance video and happened on a section of the platform that is out of public view.
